Hi girls. Finally I have joined a gym and the trainer is making me run like crazy. Gosh I feel that my stamina is zero and I find reasons to skip from sets (like the trainer tells me to do 4 sets and I say I am dying I can’t do more than two). Lol the poor trainer 😉 . He must be thinking “Hey girl why don’t you sit at home when you can’t exercise and over the top you have a chatty tongue to give long excuses ”. But hey I am trying my best and I am completing the sets now. So girls coming back to today’s post, I am reviewing the Real Techniques Sculpting set Collector’s edition which I showed you guys in my earlier post My February shopping haul.
When I was starting out in makeup up, I was really looking for an affordable brand that offered great quality brush sets. Mac’s each brush was around 1600 INR and I could not afford a set of Mac. I found Real techniques absolutely amazing and bought the beginner’s eye set and core collection. The brushes were so amazing that I became a fan of Real Techniques brushes.
As I am loving contouring these days so I was lately looking for a good bronzing brush and a fan brush for highlighting but there were no affordable good quality ones available. When I got to know about this Real Techniques Sculpting set Collector’s edition I jumped with thrill. This was what I was looking for.
Real Techniques Sculpting set Collector’s edition
Price 1799 (Amazon)
The Real Techniques Sculpting set Collector’s edition comes in a plastic packaging. I wish they gave a cover like the core collection but since the set is quite affordable so I can ignore that.
The first brush in this set is the sculpting brush which sits perfectly under the cheek bones and creates perfect sculpted cheeks in no time. Like all the Real Techniques brushes, the fiber of the brush is very soft on skin and the glue doesn’t come out even after washing several times.
The second brush in the Real Techniques Sculpting set Collector’s edition is the fan brush. In India I could only find a fan brush at Sephora and that was for 4000INR. I was about to faint when I got to know the price. So I just love my Real Techniques fan brush. It picks up just the right amount of highlighter and creates a beautiful strobbed cheeks in seconds 🙂
The third brush in the Real Techniques Sculpting set Collector’s edition is a setting brush. I use it for contouring my nose and it just fits perfectly on my nose and performs brilliantly.
The beauty of Real Techniques brushes is that you can use it in multiple ways. For example you can use the fan brush for contouring or you can also use it for highlighting. The setting brush from Real Techniques Sculpting set Collector’s edition can be used for nose contouring or under eye powder setting or cheeks contouring. You can find your own ways to use these brushes as per your suitability.
I just love this set and I would suggest you to go for Real Techniques Sculpting set Collector’s edition if you are looking for an affordable sculpting set. Real techniques brushes are of great quality and the sets are very affordable too.
So girls this was my take on Real Techniques Sculpting set Collector’s edition. Do tell me how you like the Real Techniques brushes or if there are some other great options in India for brush sets with the price and quality comparable to Real Techniques. BBye for now. See you on Thursday. Feel beautiful be stylish 🙂
